Parenting Resources
Parenting Education
I am a contracted trainer with Family Connections, where I provide three structured parenting education trainings focused on attachment, dopamine, and trauma-informed care.
These trainings help caregivers understand:
Attachment Theory – How early relationships shape emotional security, behavior, and long-term relational patterns.
Dopamine & the Developing Brain – How reward pathways influence motivation, behavior, screen use, risk-taking, and emotional development.
Trauma & Stress Response – How adverse experiences impact the brain and behavior — and how healing occurs through safe, consistent caregiving.
The goal is to equip caregivers with practical insight into why children behave the way they do — and how connection changes outcomes.

Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS)
Oregon parents and caregivers can attend free 6-week online Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) classes designed to help families better understand and respond to challenging behaviors. CPS is an evidence-based approach that views difficult behavior as a sign of lagging skills rather than lack of motivation and teaches caregivers how to work collaboratively with children to build problem-solving, flexibility, and frustration tolerance.
These classes focus on strengthening parent-child relationships, reducing conflict, and helping families develop practical strategies that support long-term emotional and behavioral success. More Information can be found here: Collaborative Problem Solving® for Oregon Parents
