Individual & Family Therapy
I provide individual and family therapy for teens, young adults, parents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, criminal justice involvement, life transitions, and relationship or school challenges. Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand what’s happening, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and tailored to each client’s needs. Together, we work to build emotional regulation, increase stability, and strengthen connection within yourself and your relationships. I also integrate practical, goal-focused approaches into my work when helpful to support meaningful change in daily life.
Parent and caregiver sessions can be an important part of this work. These sessions create space to explore intergenerational patterns, strengthen parenting approaches, and support healthy communication, emotional attunement, and secure attachment within the family.
Parent sessions are available even if your child is not in therapy, offering support to help you build skills and navigate challenges in a way that can positively impact your relationship.
In addition to general therapy, I offer specialized, evidence-based treatments for youth and families needing more focused support.
-
Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) is typically completed in 10–16 sessions and focuses on repairing the parent–child relationship. Rather than only addressing behaviors, this work focuses on rebuilding trust, increasing emotional safety, and strengthening the caregiver’s role as a secure base and safe haven for the child. As connection improves, caregivers are often better equipped to respond in ways that support emotional regulation, openness, and resilience. ABFT is commonly used with youth experiencing suicidality, depression, trauma, and significant family conflict.
-
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps youth and young adults safely process traumatic experiences while building coping skills and emotional regulation. TF-CBT is typically completed in 8-25 sessions and is commonly used to address PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related concerns and includes caregiver involvement to strengthen support and communication.
-
Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) is a specialized, evidence-based approach for individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts. CAMS focuses on understanding the drivers of suicidal distress, building a strong collaborative partnership, and developing a clear, individualized plan to increase safety, stability, and a sense of control. CAMS is typically completed in 10-12 sessions.
Working Together
I offer therapy in ways that fit real life. Sessions are offered through Walk & Talk therapy, In-Home when appropriate, or via Secure Telehealth.
My goal is to meet you where you are—literally and emotionally—and make therapy feel as accessible and workable as possible for individuals, families, teens, and young adults.
For details about session rates and payment, please see the Fees & Payment section. This practice is private pay and does not bill insurance. Payment is due at the time of service, and superbills are available upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
If you have questions about cost or logistics, you’re always welcome to ask.
